  Ravi Guntupalli is a Vice President (VP), in charge of Sales & Marketing, at Princeton Instruments, a leading provider of scientific grade CCD, ICCD, EMCCD, sCMOS and InGaAs based cameras and spectrographs for ultra low light imaging and spectroscopy applications. With around 20 years of experience in the field of low light imaging technologies, Ravi has been working with researchers worldwide who are applying these technologies across life and physical sciences, including to a large extent, astrophysics studies.

  PI has worked within space imaging/earth imaging for a long time in China and around the world.

  1. Long endurance/maintenance free operations:

  NSSC's Prof. Yuan needs the best scientific camera to use in 35 stations located all across China.Over 50 PI cameras were used for over 10 years.

  2. NIR etaloningand our eXcelon technology.

  3. Deep Cooling: How to make deep cooling easy to use and stable for long exposure? ArcTec and SOPHIA.

  4. Speed: How to make fast imaging possible? ProEM and KURO.

  5. Imaging & Spectroscopy at the same time? And how to get accurate spectra from Near-Earth-Object / Space Debris / Satellites?

  a. Only with aberration-free IsoPlane/FERGIE, it is feasible to put the system on the focal plane of a telescope and do both imaging/spectroscopy and get reliable results.

  b. How we achieved aberration-free FERGIE technology.

  6. Beyond the Visible?

  PI offers the best scientific SWIR cameras that can be used in many interesting space/earth imaging/spectroscopy applications.
