1989-1993年南京气象学院农业气象理学学士，2004-2006年兰州大学气象学硕士，2015-2017年南京大学大气科学（气候系统与气候变化）博士。
全国气候与气候变化标准化技术委员会委员。
曾主持完成中国气象局气候变化专项、科技部973项目专题、公益性行业（气象）专项课题等科研项目。目前，主持2个国家重点研发计划专题。
主持完成数十项横向课题。
发表学术论文20多篇，其中SCI收录6篇。
创作了《认知气候变化，保障气候安全》、《应对极端事件，管理灾害风险》、《气候知识服务气候行动》、《气候变化与气候安全》等多部气候科普作品，参加《中国气候》、《中国气象科普体系构建研究》等著作的编写。
曾获中国气象局奖项数项。
