1、脑血管病基础和临床研究：主要研究免疫炎症在缺血性脑损伤中的作用及其分子机制、在基因指导下，脑卒中的个体化治疗(已发表在Mol Endocrinol.2004,PNAs.2006, Exp Neurol.2009,JCBFM.2010,Brain Behav Immun.2012,Stroke.2013, Neurobiol Dis.2014.等等)。 2、老年性痴呆的基础和临床研究：主要集中在老年性痴呆发病机制的研究以及临床早期诊断和鉴别诊断的转化医学研究（已发表在Age.2009,Mechanisms of Ageing and Development.2009, Journal of Neurology.2012, PLoS ONE.2012,Aging Cell.2012, Int J Neuropsychopharmacol.2014，J Alzheimers Dis. 2014.等等）。
