研究领域主要包括信息组织、信息检索、文本挖掘及自然语言处理等，目前的研究方向主要包括学术文本挖掘、知识实体抽取与评估、社交媒体挖掘等，主要围绕语义化、多语言化、社会化三个角度对信息组织、检索与挖掘进行研究。 曾参与或主持的项目包括“十一五”国家科技支撑计划重点项目子课题、国家社科重大项目、国家自然科学基金项目，国家社科基金项目、教育部人文社科项目、中国博士后科学基金特别资助项目、中国博士后科学基金面上资助项目等。

工作经历
● 2007年至今，在南京理工大学历任讲师、副研究员、教授、博士生导师
● 2013年11~12月，在匹兹堡大学信息学院访问，从事社会化标注行为与社会化标签挖掘的研究工作
● 2010年至2011年，在香港城市大学访问，从事平行语料采集与挖掘的研究工作
● 2007年至2009年，在中国科学技术信息研究所做博士后，从事多语言领域本体自动构建的研究工作
