国家****基金获得者。主要从事河口海岸沉积体系与地貌演化的现代过程研究,聚焦于浅海环境近底部边界层的沉积动力过程。主要成果包括:采用现场原位观测方法,研究了微观尺度上湍流间歇性对沉积物起动条件的影响、湍流对絮凝过程的控制作用;在宏观尺度上,获得了潮滩沉积物分带性形成机制的直接观测证据,提出了围填海影响下的潮滩地貌演化模式。近5年来,在JGR-Oceans、Marine Geology等国际主流刊物上发表学术论文30余篇。目前的研究兴趣是人类活动与全球气候变化影响下的河口海岸系统状态转换、基于过程的水动力-沉积物-地貌耦合数值模型、沉积记录形成演化的正演模拟等。
