个人简介:

祝名伟,南京大学教授。2004年于浙江大学获材料学博士学位,2004-2006在南大固体微结构物理国家重点实验室进行博士后研究,2007年起在微结构国家重点实验室、材料科学与工程系进行教学、科研工作。2015-2016在美国马里兰大学进行访问合作研究。江苏省“青蓝工程”中青年学术带头人培养对象。主要研究方向为生态材料与微结构材料。近年来,致力于人工设计、调控天然纤维素纤维的多级结构,发展了系列人工序构微结构材料及其相关技术,其中重要的进展如下:
(1)发展了一系列绿色的基于天然纤维素纤维的新型材料。例如,在超高强度材料方面,研发了强度超过很多钢材的木材,在某些领域可望替代钢材;在新型光学材料方面,研发了新型的透明木材新材料,被视为颠覆性创新的新实例,在某些领域可望替代玻璃;在新型环境友好新材料方面,研发了新型的透明纤维素纤维薄膜,有望在某些领域替代塑料薄膜。
(2)发展了一系列绿色的基于天然纤维素纤维材料的新制备方法与技术。例如,研发了新型的生物可降解纤维素纤维透明薄膜的制备方法,打破了日本在相关领域的技术垄断,将极大推动这类环境友好型材料在各个领域的应用。
(3)拓展了基于天然纤维素纤维新材料与新结构在光学、能源、催化等领域的新的应用。例如,拓展到光学领域,实现了木基微透镜阵列,发展了木基的光学/光子学研究领域;拓展到光热领域,实现了木材基础的光热饮用纯净水的高效制取,为分布式低成本饮用水的获取提供了可行的新途径;拓展到污水净化领域,实现了木材基础的污水的快速高效处理,为污水处理提供了简单、低成本的高效处理方法。
近5年共在SCI期刊上发表论文20篇,其中第一/共一/通讯作者11篇,包括Nature 1篇、Advanced Materials 4篇、Advanced Energy Materials 2篇、ACS Nano 1篇、Nano Energy 1篇。1篇入选Advanced Materials 2016年度访问量前十名文章(排名第一);1篇热点论文;5篇高被引论文,3篇论文被Nature、Nature Energy、Discover、ScienceDaily等国际学术新闻亮点报道,同时被BBC、CNN、New York Times、中央电视台等国内外著名媒体报道,获得了广泛的学术和社会影响。获中国发明专利14项,国际发明专利5项。主持国家自然科学基金重大研究计划重点支持项目1项,国家自然基金面上项目2项,江苏省自然科学基金1项,作为骨干成员参与国家重点基础研究发展计划(973)项目2项,国家重点研发计划项目1项。
Mingwei Zhu, professor at Nanjing University. In 2004, he obtained his doctorate degree in materials science from Zhejiang University. From 2004 to 2006, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Department of Physics in Nanjing University. Since 2007, he joined Nanjing Unversity at Department of Materials Science and Engineering. From 2015 to 2016, he was a visiting professor at the University of Maryland, USA. His main research interests are ecological materials and microstructured materials. In recent 5 years, he has published more than 20 papers at top journals of Nature, Adv. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater. etc.. Some of them have been widely highlighted and reported by Nature, Nature Energy, BBC, CNN and The New York Times, such as “the transparent wood composites” and “wood as stong as steel”.
