博士植物学教授，博士生导师
中国植物生理学会常务理事、江苏省植物生理学会理事长。《植物生理学报》、《南京农业大学学报》编委。研究兴趣：植物营养生理和环境生理，包括植物对营养和有毒元素的吸收、缺乏或过量的适应性反应机理、污染土壤的植物修复等。已发表学术论文100多篇，其中SCI收录60多篇，被SCI论文引用1800多次(hindex:21)。获江苏省第七届“青年科技奖”（2001年）、中国农学会第八届“青年科技奖”（2002）和教育部第四届“高校青年教师奖”（2002）。主持完成的“重金属污染土壤的化学诱导修复”获2009年度教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖（科学技术）自然科学奖二等奖。在研项目
