中国心电学会全国委员,海峡两岸医药卫生交流协会心血管专业委员会常委,中国心律学会急诊工作委员会委员，博士研究生导师,澳大利亚查尔斯特大学（Charles Sturt University）博士研究生论文评审专家,国际心脏病学（International Journal of Cardiology）、心血管药理与治疗杂志（Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Therapeutics）、临床和实验高血压杂志 （Clinical and Experimental Hypertension）、QJM、中国综合临床杂志审稿专家。擅长高血压、心律失常的诊断和治疗,尤其是心脏电生理和起搏,心血管疾病的介入治疗。心血管疑难病症的诊断和处理。在国内最早提出了短QT综合征的概念,发现麻醉药丙泊酚具有抗室性心律失常作用,并研究其抗心律失常作用机制。在国内最早研究心脏T小管在心力衰竭和心律失常中的病理生理改变和相关分子机制。应用激光共聚焦技术观察了内毒素对野生型小鼠心肌细胞钙信号和t小管结构的影响,从而探讨了内毒素对心肌的损伤机制。通过大样本研究观察了中国北方地区房颤的发生率及其临床相关因素，以及糖尿病人群的房颤发生率。
