  王光旭,男,1985年生,河南省宜阳县人。
  2004.09~2008.07,南阳师范学院生命科学与技术学院,理学学士学位;
  2008.09~2011.07,中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所,理学硕士学位;
  2011.09~2014.07,中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所,理学博士学位;
  2014.08~2017.02,中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所,助理研究员;
  2017.03~至今,中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所,副研究员。

研究领域:
奥陶系和志留系地层学及珊瑚研究,近年来的研究重点是:奥陶纪末大灭绝及其之后的残存与复苏。华南发育有全球罕见的奥陶-志留纪过渡期连续、完整的沉积序列,在理解这一灭绝事件的过程和背景机制等方面具有极大优势。目前的工作主要包括:(a)华南奥陶-志留系界线附近碳酸盐沉积的划分与对比,以期为探讨大灭绝事件提供精确的时空对比框架;(b)华南奥陶纪-志留纪过渡期皱纹珊瑚及床板珊瑚的宏演化过程及其对奥陶纪末大灭绝研究的启示。
