  汤祥明,男,1976年生,安徽繁昌人。2006年毕业于南京师范大学生命科学学院生物化学与分子生物学专业,获理学硕士学位。2009年毕业于中国科学院南京地理与湖泊研究所自然地理学专业,获理学博士学位。同年留所工作,历任助理研究员、副研究员。曾获 “江苏省2010年度百篇优秀博士论文奖”、“2013年江苏省科技进步二等奖”(排名第7)、“2018年环境保护科学技术一等奖”(排名第10)及“2019年环境保护科学技术二等奖”(排名第2)等。2015年3月~2016年3月获国家留学基金委资助赴美国田纳西大学微生物学系进行访问****研究工作。美国海洋与湖沼学会会员、美国微生物学会会员。
  主持及参与国家自然科学基金、科技部973子课题、国家水体污染控制与治理科技重大专项、国家自然科学基金委国际合作与交流项目、环保部公益性项目、江苏省自然科学基金等10余个课题的研究工作。主要研究兴趣为富营养化湖泊中蓝藻水华—异养细菌—营养盐循环过程中的微生物学机制,湖泊咸化过程中的微生物响应,以及水域微生物时空格局及驱动机制。目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目“湖泊有机聚集体附着微生物群落特征及构建机制”(2020-2023)。
  目前已发表专著3部、论文100余篇,其中SCI收录的论文70余篇,包括Limnology and Oceanography, PNAS, Environmental Science & Technology, Applied and Environmental Microbiology, Microbial Ecology等湖沼学与微生物生态学领域知名期刊论文。
