Biography Dr Patrick Ting graduated from the BSc (Hons) in Optometry programme at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1999. He obtained a PhD in Optometry in 2005 from Queensland University of Technology. In 2005, he joined The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a full-time Instructor.
From 2011 onwards, he served as a Lecturer at the University of Manchester (Singapore), School of Chemical and Life Sciences, Singapore Polytechnic. Dr Ting also served as a clinical tutor for Optometry training at the Tan Tock Seng and Khoo Tech Puat Hospitals in Singapore from 2011 to 2013 and established the paediatric clinic service at the West Coast Optometry Clinic in Singapore in 2012.
