Biography
Wai-yip Tam was born in Hong Kong in 1965. He received BSc (Hons) degree in electronic engineering from the City Polytechnic of Hong Kong in 1988. In 1990 and 1994, he respectively received M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Since 1990, Dr. Tam has been at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he is an Assistant Professor in Electronic and Information Engineering. His current research interests include small antennas, numerical modeling of electromagnetic and acoustic waves.
