Biography Joost Swetter has been training EASA ATPL students for the last 20 years and has held multiple post holder functions for several different Aviation Authorities.
He holds a Flight Instructor license and has Airline Ops experience.
After working for Martinair flight school he became full time Ground Instructor and later Chief Ground Instructor for the National Aviation School, CAE, in Amsterdam. At a certain point an opportunity arose to join the Hong Kong department of Oxford Aviation Academy to help run the MPL program for Dragon Air, first as Instructor later as Chief Ground Instructor. For CAE he also helped to set up an ATPL program in Singapore with Jet Star and Tigerair as customers.
In 2014 Joost moved his family to New Zealand to join CTC, later L3, to strengthen their ATPL program in Hamilton, NZ.
His specialties are Principles of Flight, Flight Planning, Mass and Balance, Meteorology and HK Air Law.
He joined the Hong Kong PolyU on 30th of September 2019.
