Bruce dedicates his research toDesign Education, Design Methodology, Experience Design, Human-centred Design, Service Design, eTourism, Positive psychology and tourism. He currently works on a practice-led applied research project which aims at developing an experience-centered design literacy and integrating design thinking in tourism innovation.
Profile
Dr. Bruce WAN is an assistant professor in the School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is interested in technology-mediated experience design that supports human flourishing. In particular, he addresses challenges that impede the design process in a co-design practice. He is currently working on experience-based design literacy, a knowledge base that facilitates the co-design process with multidisciplinary researchers for smart tourism, leisure and social innovation.
