Biography Rui is currently a Research Assistant Professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his PhD degree from the University of Nottingham, UK and MEng and BEng degrees from Wuhan University, China. His research interests lie in urban informatics and geospatial artificial intelligence. He has published about 20 peer-reviewed papers in venues of remote sensing, geographic information science, and computer vision, including ESI highly cited paper and journal Featured Article. In addition, he has also served as reviewer for many international journals, including ISPRS J. P&RS, IEEE TGRS, IJGIS, IJRS, RS, RSL, IJGI, Sustainability, etc.
