Biography
Selected Works

Seongkyu "Gilbert" Park primarily studies market microstructure and asset pricing. His research interests include information asymmetry, market efficiency, financial market regulations, investor behavior, and high-frequency trading.
His paper was awarded the 8th Financial News & KAFA Doctoral Student Dissertation Award, KSA Best Dissertation Award at the 8th Annual Conference on Asia-Pacific Financial Markets, semifinalist for best paper in market microstructure at the 2014 FMA annual meeting, Best paper award at the Asian Finance Association 2017, and Best paper award (1st prize) at the World Finance Conference 2017.?
Park earned his Ph.D and M.A. both in economics from the University of Chicago. He also holds M.Econ and B.B.A. (summa cum laude) from Korea University.
