Dr. Lam Wai Man Winnie (BScIT, PhD, IEEE member) joined The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) in 2016 and is currently a Lecturer who is teaching IT subjects and organizing various academic competitions and activities. Before joining EdUHK, she has six years of teaching experience in HKU SPACE Community College and two years of industrial experience in data analytics for different companies including SPSS, MTR Corporation, Immigration Department and HK Exchanges and Clearing, etc. Her research areas are bioinformatics, data analytics, e-learning and blended learning. She has published research articles in international conferences, journals and transactions. She served as Track Chair, Program Committee member, Local Organizing Committee Co-Chair in international conferences. She is also a committee member in IEEE Hong Kong Computer Society Chapter since 2018.

Her research interests focus on bioinformatics, data mining, e-learning, and information retrieval. She has published several journals including IEEE Transactions on NanoBioscience, IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, Journal of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, etc. and conferences including IEEE BIBM, IEEE BIBE, IEEE GrC, etc.
