Chad McKee is a registered architect and LEED accredited professional from New York City with over twenty years of experience leading projects and research on sustainable environmental design. McKee’s role at HKU bridges between design studio education and the architectural sciences. His recent design studios focus on the challenges and creative potential of Hong Kong’s high-density thermal environment. He currently leads the technical studies core units on sustainable environmental design in the undergraduate and graduate programs at HKU. ?McKee’s research and architectural design work explore the vertical climatology of high-rise, high-density Hong Kong.
