AboutDr. Liu Qifeng, is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Hong Kong Baptist University.He is EVP and Secretary-General of the Hong Kong Society of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (HKSAIR), Secretary General of GBA Society of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Council Member of the Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), Executive Director of the Hong Kong Internet Professional Association, VP of the Greater Bay Area Association of Fintech.
He obtained PhD degree in pattern recognition and intelligence system at the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR) of the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IA, CAS). Then he worked as the head of Pingan Group's Gamma AI Lab, data scientist of Yahoo Lab, the chief data scientist of Hong Kong Financial Data Technologies, researcher of Samsung Lab, etc. He has published ~40 papers and patents (including 7 U.S. patents), and ever established joint laboratories with Oxford University, Columbia University, Tsinghua University and Nanjing University.
