OVERVIEW
Dr. Nirakar Pradhan received his Ph.D. degree in Environmental Technology from University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée, France. Later he obtained postdoctoral experience from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Dr. Pradhan joined the Hong Kong Baptist University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology. Dr. Pradhan's research interests and experiences primarily center on the nutrient removal from wastewater, microbial fermentation, resource recovery from organic waste, and mathematical and statistical modeling for bioprocess design and optimization.
