Introduction With a key focus on infrastructure strategic development and hospitality Daniel has more than 15 years professional experience working on projects in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Dubai, the UK and Germany. Within the rail sector these projects have been of different scales ranging from individual station to major international rail terminus. He has extensive railway design experience in delivering detailed design, tender and construction documentation including coordination with clients, contractors, manufacturers and consultants.
In the region Daniel was most recently involved in some hospitality developments ranging from strategic master-planning to individual resort outlines and detail designs.
Daniel has a profound technical understanding of infrastructure and hospitality operators design criteria and systems. He has been responsible for a wide array of building typologies and functions. He has good communication, presentation and documentation skills and besides building a team of architects is also particularly experienced in managing and developing design development and implements it into construction through coordination with clients, contractors, manufacturers and other consultants. This has given him a broad understanding of various issues such as interfaces, programming cost and logistics resulting from complex design and systems. He is also experienced in schematic and concept outline design having developed numerous schemes for competitions and feasibility studies. This has resulted in a broad understanding of projects in this sector as well as good communication, presentation and documentation skills.
In 2013, Daniel has been appointed Adjunct Associate Professor at School of Architecture in Chinese University of Hong Kong where he is teaching a course in urban transportation systems.
In 2016, Daniel had been appointed as lecturer at the University of Applied Science in Stuttgart, Germany.
Daniel is also concerned to serve the community as past president of the Rotary Club of Shouson Hill.
