Biography Dr. Vikas Kakkar obtained his B.Stat. from Indian Statistical Institute in Calcutta, M.A. and Ph.D. from University of Rochester. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. His main fields of research are Open Economy Macroeconomics and Applied Econometrics. In particular, his current research focuses on explaining persistent movements in real exchange rates based on different trends in productivities in traded and nontraded goods sectors. He is also interested in Equity Valuation and Applied Game Theory.
