Biography Dr Wan received her doctorate degree from the School of Hotel and Tourism Management of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to joining the City University of Hong Kong, Dr Wan has obtained an extensive working experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. Being a market analyst at the New World Renaissance Hotel, she was managing the market intelligence for the hotel. Her research experience gained at the Hong Kong Tourism Board also provided her with a solid foundation in hospitality and tourism statistics. Her research interests are sustainable tourism, destination marketing and hospitality & tourism management. Dr Wan has obtained the Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) and the Certificate in the Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) as offered by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA).
