个人简介
周新星,男,1987年4月出生,副教授,硕士研究生导师,湖南大学博士(导师:文双春教授/国家****、罗海陆教授),Nanyang Technological University-Singapore博士后(合作导师:Prof. Handong Sun/APS Fellow)。在国际权威期刊发表SCI论文60余篇(本人第一作者、通讯作者或共同第一作者20余篇),论文被引用1900余次(Web of Science),单篇引用100次以上的论文7篇,单篇引用150次以上的论文4篇(本人第一作者或共同第一作者3篇),被Reviews of Modern Physics、Nature Photonics、Physical Review Letters、Nano Letters等顶尖期刊正面引用30余篇次,4篇论文入选“ESI高被引论文”,H因子21。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目1项。应邀担任4个国际SCI期刊的副主编或编委(IEEE Photonics Journal和IEEE Access的副主编,Scientific Reports和Frontiers in Materials的编辑)。担任包括Physical Review Letters、Physical Review Applied、Physical Review A、Physical ReviewResearch、Laser & Photonics Reviews、Optics Letters、Applied Physics Letters、New Journal of Physics、Photonics Research、Optics Express在内的35个权威SCI期刊的审稿专家,国家自然科学基金通讯评审专家。被国际著名SCI期刊Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics编委会提名为2021年度本领域的“新兴领袖”(“Emerging Leaders”),获2020年度教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖(科学技术)(自然科学二等奖,排名第三)。

学术贡献
研究方向为自旋光电子学,即基于光、电子自旋相关特性的基础与应用研究,主要内容有(但不局限于):
1、光子自旋霍尔效应;
2、光、电子学精密测量及传感技术;
3、基于自旋的光电子学器件;
4、结合已有研究基础,探索光、电子学前沿领域。
