谢剑平，男，1959年生，中共党员，中国工程院院士，研究员职称，博士生导师。1985年，师从朱尊权院士毕业于轻工业部科学研究院烟草工业科学研究所，获工学硕士学位。1985年至今工作于郑州烟草研究院，现任副院长，兼任国际烟草科研合作中心（CORESTA）理事会中国烟草总公司代表，国家科学技术奖励评审专家，国家烟草专卖局科学技术委员会委员，中国科协决策咨询专家，Food and Chemical Toxicology等SCI源期刊审稿专家，《烟草科技》（中文核心期刊）主编等职。

　　长期从事烟草化学、烟草香料和卷烟降焦减害的应用研究工作。熟悉烟草科学与研究发展动态与趋势，围绕卷烟减害降焦主攻方向，承担了国家863计划、科技部、国家自然科学基金委、国家烟草局等部委下达的20多项开拓性研究课题。获得国家科技进步二等奖3项，河南省科技进步一等奖1项，二等奖1项，国家烟草专卖局科技进步特等奖1项、一等奖3项、二等奖4项、三等奖6项。获得知识产权授权38项（17项发明，17项实用新型、4项计算机软件著作权）。主编出版《Toxicological Assessment of 1，3-Butadiene and Crotonaldehyde》和《卷烟危害性评价原理与方法》等专著8本。主持制定烟草行业标准11项。在《J．Chromatography A》等国内外期刊上发表论文83篇。长期承担烟草化学方向研究生专业课授课工作。培养硕士生12名，博士生5名。
