研究领域:

1骨骼肌卫星细胞及肌肉生长发育的调控
在动物机体组成中,肌肉占动物体重的 40%以上,是动物主要的运动和代谢器官。骨骼肌的生长发育和再生主要依赖于骨骼肌干细胞(卫星细胞)的增殖和分化。常见的肌肉生长发育异常包括:肌肉营养不良、肌肉减少症、肌肉萎缩症、肌肉恶病质等,探索控制骨骼肌卫星细胞行为的关键基因的功能和信号调控通路将有助于提高动物生产性能及人类的生活质量。
2 动物脂肪沉积的调控
脂肪组织是机体能量的主要储存场所,体内过多的白色脂肪沉积会引发肥胖以及糖尿病,心脏病等疾病的发生。与白色脂肪不同的是,米色脂肪与棕色脂肪以产热的形式消耗大量能量,可以降低白色脂肪的沉积,提高米色脂肪与棕色脂肪的沉积成为解决肥胖相关疾病的重要途径。探索不同脂肪的干细胞来源以及基因基因表达差异,将为解决肥胖问题提供理论依据。
