Basic Information
Dr. Deming Zhai is currently a lecturer, master student supervisor with the Department of Computer Science, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Harbin, China. She received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. (Hons.) degrees in computer science from HIT in 2007, 2009, and 2014, respectively. In 2008, she joined the Joint Research and Development Lab (JDL), Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, as a research assistant. In 2011, she spent half a year in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as a visiting student. From March of 2012, she is with GRASP Laboratory, University of Pennsylvania, PA, USA, as a visiting scholar. In 2015, she worked as a project researcher at National Institute of Informatics (NII), Tokyo, Japan for one year. Her research interests include machine learning, data mining and their applications in computer vision and image processing.
