基本信息
范晓鹏,男,汉族,哈尔滨工业大学计算机学院教授(长聘)、博士生导师,智能接口与人机交互研究中心副主任,IEEE Senior Member。2009年于香港科技大学电子与电机工程系获博士学位;2010年入选哈尔滨工业大学“百人计划”引进人才;2011年入选新世纪优秀人才支持计划,以及微软亚洲研究院“铸星计划”; 2013年获得IEEE颁发标准杰出贡献奖。2014年入选哈工大拔尖人才支持计划,2016年入选哈工大长聘教授。主要研究兴趣包括视频编码传输、计算机视觉、以及多媒体技术,发表论文100余篇,包括顶级期刊IEEE T-CSVT、IEEE T-IP、IEEE T-COM、IEEE SPM,以及顶级会议ACM MM、ECCV、DCC等。获得发明专利18项,自适应系数扫描技术被国际标准HEVC/H.265采用,14项技术被IEEE1857(AVS)标准采纳,主持开发了AVS第一个3D视频编码平台。2013年作为副主编及主要起草人之一,制定了IEEE视频编码标准《IEEE 1857.2》。作为程序主席主办了CCF C类会议PCM2017。2018年与中科大、北大及武汉大学联合提出第一个基于深度学习的视频编码平台DLVC。

Resume
Xiaopeng Fan (M’09, SM’17) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), China, in 2001 and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong, in 2009.

From 2003 to 2005, he worked with Intel China Software Laboratory (ICSL) as Software Engineer. He joined HIT as Associate Professor in 2009 and was promoted Full Professor in 2014. During 2011 and 2012, he worked with Microsoft Research Asia as Visiting Researcher.

He has authored or co-authored over 100 technical journal and conference papers. His current research interests include image/video coding, wireless communication, and deep learning. He has 11 Chinese or American patents granted, and has more than 10 techniques adopted by international video coding standards including HEVC, AVS, AVS3D and etc.

He served as program chair of PCM2017, chair of IEEE SGC2015, and co-chair of MCSN2015. He was associate editor of IEEE 1857 standard in 2013. He has been awarded ‘Outstanding Contributions to the Development of IEEE Standard 1857’ by IEEE in 2013.
