简单介绍Finite-element method (FEM) has been widely used in industrial applications for many years. With the increase of finite-element model complexity and the number of elements, computation burden has become a serious issue and requires more attention. In this paper, the transmission line method (TLM) is adopted to the solution of FEM-based nonlinear axisymmetric magnetostatic problem and an equivalent finite-element network’s circuit model is given. Several methods were investigated to speed up the computation, such as Newton preconditioners, simplification of nonlinear equation solution and parallel computation. Compared with traditional Newton FEM iteration, our results show that the proposed method has more obvious advantages on computational efficiency at the same calculation accuracy. The method is applicable and valuable in the characteristic analysis and design of the magnetic device with a cylindrical structure.

简单介绍Composite contacts used for DC relays can help reduce their cost and the amount of precious metals used in their construction. Because of their electrical properties, silver metal oxide-copper (AgMeO-Cu) composite contacts are widely used; however, at heavy loads, the bonding strength of the composite contact will change due to the influence of uneven temperature and stress distributions, which may even cause failure in the form of oxide layer peeling. Here, typical AgSnO2In2O3-Cu composite contacts are studied. A 3D finite element simulation model that considers contact making, arcing, and breaking was established to calculate the contact temperature and thermal stress after any operation cycle. The model can be used to determine the variation of the contact temperature and thermal stress distributions vs. operation time during an electrical life cycle test. For different AgMeO layer@#%s thickness (0.25 mm and 0.38 mm),the temperature and thermal stress distribution of composite contact@#%s bonding area were calculated under different current load levels: 30 A, 45 A and 60 A, while the load voltage is a constant 17 V. Results show that the thickness of the AgMeO layer has a significant effect on the temperature and stress distribution of the bonding area in the moveable contact and the composite contacts may more easily curl and crack with an increment of the AgMeO layer thickness under the same current condition. The simulation results agree well with the experimental data and the relative error is less than 10%. The validity of the model and method was verified. The numerical model in the paper may be used to analyze a composite contact@#%s properties and is therefore useful for design optimization and the selection of composite contact materials.

简单介绍As an analytical method with lumped parameters, the magnetic equivalent circuit method is usually constrained by its incapability of flux leakage and magnetic saturation compared with finite element (FE) method. We propose a new approach introducing compensation matrix Cm×n to combine both methods. It requires a certain number of feature points by FE to compensate flux leakage at different positions and saturation extents at different coil currents, result precision within 5% and only second time consumed. Then, the approach is applied in dynamic modeling, design refinement, and performance optimization, where repetitive calculation of electromagnetic character is needed, and the results indicate the feasibility of the approach.

简单介绍Generally dynamic characteristics of actuators such as electromagnetic relay can be solved with Finite Element (FE) method, of which the enormous calculation time consumed virtually prohibits its utility in handling optimization problems. In this paper a semi-analytical model was established based on Magnetic Equivalent Circuit (MEC) method and FE method. To achieve fast calculation Magnetic Equivalent Circuit (MEC) method is applied for electromagnetic system modeling. And to ensure accuracy, compensation matrix Cm×n is introduced to compensate the errors caused by flux leakage and saturation according to results obtained from the Finite Element (FE) method. As a counterpart Deformation Energy (DE) method is used for analytical modeling for mechanical system which includes mainly recoverable reed producing counter-force. Thus dynamic modeling and the subsequent dynamic parameters can be available by solving Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE) by 4th order Runge-Kutta method and the comparison with results from FE method indicates the feasibility and efficiency of the new approach. The breaking speed and closure speed of the contact, which are closely related to electrical arc making and contact loss caused by bounce respectively, are combined as an objective function to optimize with one of the stochastic approaches-Particle Swarm (PS) algorithm. Thus an optimum combination of input parameters can be obtained. The approach can also be applied in optimizations for other mechanical and electrical devices.

简单介绍The design of aerospace electromagnetic relay is complicated and the process refers to the multi-fields problem including the kinematic, electricity, magnet and thermal. Aim to the problem, a new modeling language named RML and a distributed simulation method were proposed for the design of the aerospace electromagnetic relay. Through the secondary development of the related software, such as FLUX, ANSYS, ADAMS et al., the model of the relay built by RML could be recognized by any software above. The integrated simulation system of the aerospace electromagnetic relay was developed by the C++ Builder software. The system has the functions of the parameter design and kinematic analysis. The design and analysis of the relay are simplified for a certain extent when the system in the paper was adopted. The research in the paper is useful for the design of the digital analysis system of the other similar type switch apparatus.

简单介绍外部磁场对于电磁继电器动态特性的干扰,是研究继电器电磁兼容性的一个重要内容。本文以典型的拍合式电磁继电器为研究对象,针对其受到工频磁场干扰的情况,采用三维有限元方法建立了仿真模型。通过仿真计算,详细分析了继电器的吸合时间、电磁力矩、吸合速度以及吸合电流随外部工频磁场变化的规律,并定量给出了动态特性的各参数随磁场变化的曲线。实验结果和仿真分析结果符合得较好,从而验证了仿真分析的正确性。本文所得结论对于研究电磁继电器的电磁兼容性和抗干扰能力具有一定的借鉴意义。

简单介绍以双电磁继电器功能模块为研究对象,建立了三种典型结构的三维有限元模型,定量分析了各种结构下,由于磁场窜扰引起的继电器静态和动态特性的变化。并针对每种结构下继电器的三种工作状态,从静态吸合力矩、动态吸合时间以及干扰力矩大小等多个方面,分析了两继电器之间的电磁干扰情况。继电器动态特性的仿真分析结果与实测数据具有很好的一致性。本文所得结论可指导双继电器电磁系统的优化设计,是研究多个继电器之间电磁干扰问题的基础。

简单介绍Research on the electromagnetic compatibility of functional module composed of two independent electromagnetic relays in a hermetically sealed shell is the technical foundation for integration and miniaturization of electronic equipment in the future. In this paper, 3D finite element method (FEM) was used to analyze the dynamic characteristics of twin-type relay interfered by uniform constant magnetic field and identify the sensitive direction in which the relay was easily interfered. The models of twin-type relay in three working states were founded. Through simulation and analysis, it was found out how the operation time and electromagnetic torque of twin-type relay changed with the outer interfered magnetic field. When the relay was on the point of operation failure, the critical value of magnetic field was calculated through simulation. The simulation results of the dynamic characteristics of twin-type relay agree well with the experimental data. The conclusion in this paper is of great value for research on the electromagnetic compatibility of relay functional module.

In this paper, equivalent circuit of the relay was obtained, considering parasitic capacitance, inductance and resistance of electromagnetic system and contact system. The equivalent circuit is applied in a certain relay to analyze how the EMP interferes with inner structures, including coil, movable reeds and static reeds. 简单介绍The permanent magnet (PM) is the key part of the relay. This paper aims to solve the problem of the uneven magnetization for the PM with nonlinear demagnetization curve after magnetizing and demagnetizing. A method partitioning the PM along the magnetization direction and the vertical direction of magnetization according to the condition of the specific magnetization of the PM was presented. By this method, the demagnetization model of the PM was built, the state of the PM magnetization was simulated under the demagnetizing magnetic intensity, and the recoil line and its initial point of each partition of the PM were obtained. Then the characteristic of the recoil line of each partition was used as its magnetic characteristic for the equivalent model of the PM to calculate the static torque characteristics under the demagnetizing magnetic field. Finally, the static torque characteristics of simulation and experiment were compared and the validity of the equivalent model presented was verified.

简单介绍永磁体是含永磁继电器的关键部件。针对去磁曲线为非线性的永磁体,充、退磁后各部分磁化不均匀的问题,提出根据具体磁化情况沿磁化及垂直于磁化方向进行永磁分块等效的方法。该方法首先建立永磁的退磁模型,仿真某一退磁场作用下永磁的退磁状态,据此求得各永磁小块的回复线起始点及回复线,然后将各小块永磁体回复线特性作为其材料属性,进行该退磁场下的继电器静态吸力(矩)特性仿真的永磁模型等效。最后通过继电器静态吸力矩特性的仿真与实验结果对比,验证了所提等效模型的正确性。
