male, got his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Jilin University of China and got his Ph.D. degree at Peking University of China. He is now an Associate Professor of Harbin Institute of Technology.

His research interest is on the well-posedness and regularity of nonlinear elliptic and parabolic partial differential equations as well as the Calculus of Variations. In particular, he made some research results on the existence and uniqueness of entropy and renormalized solutions for the nonlinear elliptic and parabolic equations with non-standard growth conditions and the Calderon-Zygmund theory. He has published more than 30 SCI papers on the J. Funct. Anal., Cal. Var & PDE., J. Diff. Equ., etc.

He has taken charge of a great variety of national scientific projects such as the Natural Science Foundation of China and received the New Academic Researcher Award for Doctoral Candidates in 2010. His thesis, entitled "Some problems on nonlinear elliptic and parabolic equations with variable exponents", was awarded the excellent PhD dissertations of Peking University in 2011.
