简单介绍As the joint connecting urban and rural areas, the special ways are needed in the spatial urban planning & design of the urban marginal areas. Based on the cases of environmental planning in Harbin’s marginal area under urban expansion background, the paper discusses the interdependent and symbiotic relationship between city and natural environment, and explores the effective modes finding, changing and utilizing the value elements of suburban environment. Finally the paper puts forwards spatial planning & design strategies oriented in the discovery and utilization of environmental value for urban marginal area according to the location characteristics of the urban marginal areas and value embodiment of natural environmental conditions, such as ecological priority, advantages intensification and images construction.

简单介绍As an important part of modern industry history of China, the Chinese Eastern Railway has been of irreplaceable historical significance and research value. Under the background of encouraging constructing low-carbon urban and town in China, the conservation tasks of protecting the Chinese Eastern Railway Culture Town would face new opportunities and challenges. This paper tries to explore how to apply the low-carbon planning approaches into the conservation planning of Hengdaohezi Town by analyzing and interpretating the status quo of the town.

简单介绍The Chinese Eastern Railway Culture Town is famous for the construction and development of the Chinese Eastern Railway, but its recession is caused by the historical factors and the transport transformation. As a consequence, for such culture towns, there is a mix of problematic issues such as construction and development chaos, spatial structure uncertainty and destroyed townscape. This paper selects the spatial nodes as the research objects to explore its significance within the scope of conservation planning of historical culture town. Taking the practice of Hengdaohezi Town Conservation Planning into account, the author analyzes the status quo of this town presenting the principles of spatial nodes design and establishing the construction guiding framework of spatial nodes.

It will thereby convert the industrial structure in the countryside, develop the local eco tourism and relevant service industries and increase the income and employment opportunities of farmers, which can change the quality of rural life and establish the tridimensional development models of new rural residence in China under the mechanism of city and countryside complementation and interaction fundamentally.

简单介绍Along with the increasing development of Chinese urbanization, there have been a lot of cities facing the problem of old city renewal. However, during the process of re-plan and reconstruction of the old city, there is a series of changing that refers to the changing of land-use function, adjustment of land layout and the improvement of development intensity, which would change the load and setting of the urban infrastructures. Therefore, how to renew the municipal facilities safely and effectively to guarantee the routine life of people has become a crucial problem in the old city renewal. This paper takes the case study of Hengdaohezi town emphasizing the discussion on re-planning the municipal facilities in the process of old city renewal. Here, the author suggested that municipal facility planning should be carried out under the premise of safety and reliability. In the process of analysis, it should give consideration on the change of urban function and character as well, in order to make the municipal facility planning more scientific and reasonable providing support for the old city renewal from the perspective of municipal engineering.
