Dr. Baohui Wang has a BSc from Northeast Petroleum University and a MS and PhD from the Jilin University, China.
Dr. Baohui Wang was employed by the Northeast Petroleum University (Daqing, Hlelongjiang, China, 1982–present), Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (Haifa, Israel,1998–2001), and by the George Washington University (DC,USA,2009-2010) where he was professor, and senior research fellow. He is currently a college dean and professor in energy chemistry and environment with the Northeast Petroleum University. He holds a chair of Longjiang Scholar titled by the Provincial government.
Dr. Baohui Wang has more than 30 years of experience in areas associated with the chemistry, petrochemistry, and oilfield chemistry as well as the petroleum environmental chemistry. He has taught more than 30 courses and contributed to more than 200 publications, reports, and presentations.
Dr. Baohui Wang is the vice chief editor of J. Northeast Petroleum University and Oil Refining and Chemical Technology, and editor of more than 5 science and technology journals. He is also an adjunct professor of Daqing Normal University and a senior researcher and visiting professor, GWU.
Dr. Baohui Wang is author of more than 150 papers and 3 books related to chemistry, petrochemistry, oilfield chemistry and petroleum environmental chemistry issues.
Dr. Baohui Wang has received (1) National Distinguished Expert, State Council of China,(2) National Distinguished Teacher, Ministry of Education of China ,(3) Provincial Distinguished Expert, Government of Heilongjiang Province), (4) Award of Distinguished Young Expert, Government of Heilongjiang Province,(5) a diploma of honor, National Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Society of China for outstanding contributions to the petroleum and chemical Industry, (2) gold medals, Government of Heilongjiang Province for outstanding sciences and technology works in the area of petroleum and chemistry science.
Dr. Baohui Wang has currently research interests in electrochemistry, petrochemistry, oilfield chemistry and petroleum environmental chemistry.
