谷美林，女，工学博士，长期从事高效制造及刀具技术研究，完成教育部博士点基金，河北省自然科学基金，天津市自然科学基金等多项基金项目；完成大港油田，廊坊恒宇工具和天津柯迪斯科技有限公司等单位委托的多项横向合作研究项目。目前为国际期刊《Materials Science and Engineering A》和《International Journal of Advanced Manufactured Technology》审稿人。
