赵锦，女，河北安平人，1977年生，生命科学学院教授、博导，加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学访问****。兼任河北省植物学会常务副理事长，中国园艺学会干果分会常务理事、秘书长。2018年入选河北省“三三三人才工程”一层次人选，2019年入选河北省省管优秀专家。已培养研究生17名（其中5名获得国家奖学金）。
科研方面，主要从事枣树基因组学及分子生物学、植物资源评价、植物与病原互作等研究。主持国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划子课题、河北省****基金等课题多项，相关成果获国家科技进步二等奖（第3名）、河北省自然科学一等奖（第2名）、梁希林业科学技术奖自然科学二等奖（第1名）、河北省科技进步一等奖（第4名）等5项；审定新品种2个，获得专利4项。主编《枣疯病》著作1部，参编《中国枣产业发展报告1949-2007》、《中国枣种质资源》等著作。注册新基因及序列60个；在Nature Communications、The Plant Journal、Phytopathology、BMC Genomics、Scientific Reports及《中国农业科学》等期刊发表论文80余篇。
教学方面，主讲《植物学》、《植物资源与利用》等课程。副主编全国高等农林院校规划教材《植物学》1部（科学出版社），参编《植物学实验与技术》（十一五规划教材）1部。
