刘韩星,首席教授、博士生导师
刘韩星,教授,武汉理工大学材料科学与工程国际化示范学院执行院长,兼任国际固态离子学会执行委员会委员。从事能量储存与转换材料的组成设计、结构调控和性能研究,针对物理储能(多层陶瓷电容器、高储能密度储能器件等)、化学储能(高能量密度储能体系等)中重要科学问题、技术难题开展研究。基于大数据建立机器学习方法、多尺度结构计算方法,形成“实验—理论—计算—大数据—智能设计”的材料设计方法;建立了材料微结构调控和材料制备技术,获得高储能密度、宽工作温度电介质新体系及其器件。在固态储能、宽温电介质、高能量密度电极材料等方向,取得了创新性成果,并在企业中开展应用。先后获省部级科技奖励4项、国家教学成果奖2项;发表SCI收录学术论文300多篇;出版著作2部;获授权国家发明专利20多项。

Hanxing Liu is the chair professor of Materials Science and Engineering, and executive dean of International School of Materials Science and Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology. He had been in various leadership positions in the last fifteen years: Dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering (2005-2016), Director of Advanced Materials Research Institute (2001-2005), etc. He worked as a visiting sc at Electronic Engineering Department, Yale University (2002-2003), and Materials Research Institute, Pennsylvania State University (2012-2013).

The research programs are broadly-based and cover a wide variety of topics which supported by Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC), Ministry of Education(MOE) etc.
