  教学、科研概况:
  主要从事生物质化学化工与聚合物科学、材料科学、生物医学及纳米科学等学科的前沿交叉研究。在生物质化学品的可持续利用和规模制备、天然高分子的化学和物理改性以及基于生物质的医用功能材料等领域开展了系列研究工作。目前,以第一作者在Macromolecules, Nanoscale, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Biomacromolecules等国际著名期刊上发表SCI学术论文23篇(其中13篇影响因子> 4.0),2篇论文入选ESI 1%高引用论文;申请/授权专利8项;作为封面主编编著中英文双语专著1部(化学工业出版社、Wiley出版社),受邀参编英文专著2部、中文专著2部;论文他引1000余次,个人h因子16。入选2016年武汉市青年科技晨光计划。主持国家自然科学基金,湖北省自然科学基金,教育部重点实验室开放基金项目,武汉理工大学人才引进科研启动项目等;以Project-PI身份主持2013年法国Grenoble TEC21博士后基金(此基金全法每年获批名额控制在4人左右)。2015年受聘武汉理工大学化学化工与生命科学学院副教授,承担《高分子化学与物理》、《生物质化学与化工》、《高分子合成工艺与改性技术》等本科、研究生教学课程。
   课题组拟招收对高分子材料、纳米技术、生物质材料等研究领域感兴趣的优秀硕士研究生。硕士研究期间表现突出者,可推荐至法国、瑞典、瑞士、巴西等海外国家攻读博士学位深造。
