其他信息: ESHA Group / Groningen / the Netherlands (1995-Present) Funciton – Chief Senior Researcher / Research Manager – ESHA Research Centre: Manage several parallel projects; make research programs, set objectives and activities, monitor progress and evaluate results of the projects. Provide technical service and advice to various business units inside ESHA Group. Completed several key projects: 1. PenTack – A special mixture of bitumen emulsions for asphalt highway and airfield maintenance. A theoretical model has been developed to predict the composition and dosage of PenTack system based on the factors of the existing road. The Dutch authority has prescribed this system as a standard method for highway maintenance. 2. Polymer modified bitumen (PMB) – an elastomer (SBS)was used to modify bitumen to produce super-high quality asphalt for expressway and runway in airfield. This technology has not only been used in Europe, but also transferred to China. 3. Polyurethane Bitumen – a very flexible and durable mateial for the bridge expansion and shrinkage joint. This material has already been put into use on the Dutch market. 4. Cold Recycling Asphalt – waste asphalt can be completely recycled by applying a few percent of bitumen emulsion in combination with cement. This is of significant impact on our environment and energy conservation. ? Practical engineering experience: Provide technical service and advice to several key projects, such as the construction of New Athens International Airport (bridge deck isolation for water proofing) and the maintenance of Copenhagen International Airport, also consultancy to the maintenance of Dutch highway system. ? Highly devloped research skill and methodology: Expertise a the organic materials, such as bitmen and polymer, as well as inorganic materials like cement. Using these skills and methods to solve lots of practical problems. Delft University of Technology / the NETHERLANDS (1991-1995) Function – Research Fellow: ?Conducted the investigation into effects of polymers on the hydration of cement, the evolution of the microstructure of cement paste and the interface between cement paste and aggregates. The attempt was made to relate these parameters to the properties of cement concrete. This is a continuation of the research program at TUD from 1988 to 1990. The various techniques were employed, such as SEM/EDAX, ESEM, leaser particle size distribution analyser, optical (fluorescent) microscopy, x-ray diffraction, thermo-gravimetry, mercury porosimetry, etc. ?Develped a polymer modified cement concrete system, which can be used in a ery severe environment, such as in critical climate conditions. ?Developed cement – bitumen emulsion system, which has been used for floors, for example, for sport halls, industrial workshops and parking areas. Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) / Wuhan / CHINA (1990-1991) Functin – Lecturer & Vice Director of Materials Science Section: ?Managed the daily research and teaching activities in the Section. Awarded for the most outstanding staff at WUT in 1991 (the highest honour in the University). ?Investigated polymer glass fibre – reinforced gypsum. ?Conducted an investigation into effect of polymer modification on the hydration of cement and the interface between cement paste and aggregates. ?Lectured on “Cement Chemistry” and “Concrete Properties and Technology”. The research achievements were published in the jounal of WTU and other magazines. Delft Uniersity of Technology / the Netherlands (1988-1990) Functin – Visiting Scholar: ?Conducted the first phase investigation into effects of polymer on the hydration of cement, the evolution of the microstructure of cement paster and th e interface between cement paste and aggregates. ?Carried out an ivestigation into effects of polmer modification on the adhesion between cement paste and aggregates. ?Investigatd polymer glass fibre-reinforced gypsum. Wuhan University of Technology / Wuhan / CHINA (1982-1988) Funcition – Lecturer of Materials Science Department of WUT: ?Conducted an investigation into the hydration of cement and concrete technology. Awarded for a substantial contribution to cement chemistry and concrete technology issued by “China Silicate Materials association” and “China Architecture Assocation” in 1989. ?Conducted research on the influence of curing condition on the hydration of cement and strength development of the concrete. ?Investigated the effect of curing condition on the permeability of the concrete. ?Lectured on “Building Ma terials” and “Concrete Technology”.
