胡炜,男,博士,研究员,博士生导师,鱼类基因工程学科组组长,副所长。国家自然科学基金创新研究群体学术带头人,湖北省自然科学基金创新群体学术带头人。先后在南开大学和中国科学院研究生院获学士、硕士和博士学位。国家水产原种和良种审定委员会委员,国家农业转基因生物安全委员会委员,国家蓝色粮仓科技创新重点专项总体专家组成员,中国水产学会淡水养殖分会副主任委员、水产生物技术专业委员会委员,中国动物学会比较内分泌分会理事。Comparative Biochemistry and PhysiologyFrontiers in Endocrinology、水生生物学报、遗传、农业生物技术学报、中国农业科技导报和水产学报等学术期刊编委。
主要从事鱼类生殖发育调控、鱼类分子遗传育种和克隆胚胎再程序化机制等研究。先后主持国家****基金、国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家重点研发计划项目、863项目和湖北省****基金、湖北省创新研究群体等项目。发现脊椎动物生殖轴的核心信号GnRH3具有调控性别分化的新功能,中枢神经系统中最主要的抑制性神经递质GABA对鱼类生殖具有双重调控作用,揭示了鱼类生殖轴中重要信号分子在脊椎动物雌雄生殖中的不同功能及调控性腺发育的机理,发现了鱼类生殖轴与生长轴间新的信号调控通路,发现鱼类配子成熟需要RNA的m6A甲基化修饰,合作发现神经内分泌激素SN在鱼类生殖、生殖行为及神经血管发育中的新功能。创建了鱼类育性可控的生殖开关新策略,培育出超雄鲤、伪雄鲤和伪雌鲤,合作培育出具有优良养殖性状的冠鲤和生殖发育可控的吉鲤,全面系统地评价了冠鲤的生态安全。首次报道了低溶氧耐受鱼的成功研制。建立了黄鳝、鲤、鲟等重要养殖鱼类高效特异的基因组编辑技术平台,并有效运用于遗传育种和基因功能研究。建立模式动物斑马鱼的克隆技术,获得斑马鱼体细胞再程序化机制及克隆胚发育机理研究的新发现。
