主要从事金属有机框架薄膜材料和新型多孔聚合物薄膜材料的设计制备及其在能源、环境领域中的应用研究。主持国家自然科学基金项目1项、湖北省自然科学基金项目1项、湖北省重点实验室基金项目1项;参与国家863计划项目3项、国家自然科学基金项目1项、教育部重点实验室基金项目1项、德国科学基金会特殊领域重大专项1项、德国科学基金会重点项目2项、德国大众汽车基金会项目1项。近年来,在Nat. Commun.,Nano Lett.,Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,J. Am. Chem. Soc.等期刊发表学术论文40余篇。
