涂新辉，现为华中师范大学计算机学院副教授，主要从事信息检索，自然语言处理方面的研究。作为主要研究人员参加国家自然科学基金项目多项，在信息检索相关领域发表论文近 30 篇，包括信息检索国际著名会议 CIKM 和 ECIR。2012年作为第3完成人获得湖北省科技进步二等奖。
