1962年4月1日出生于广西武鸣。^1977年9月-1979年9月：在武鸣剑江中学念书。^1979年9月-1983年7月：在广西大学数学系念书，曾担任班团支书，校团委委员。^1983年7月-1994年2月：1983年大学毕业后在广西大学数学系任教，1990年获讲师资格。^1994年2月-1998年2月：获澳大利亚政府海外研究生研究奖学金（OPRS）资助，在澳大利亚新南威尔斯大学攻读博士学位，1997年10月获博士学位，1998年2月回到广西大学工作。^1998年2月- 至今： 在广西大学工作。其间：1998
