1983年，广西大学获学士学位；1990年，广西大学获硕士学位；2006年，西安交通大学获博士学位。1990年起在广西大学任教，2006年起任教授，同时任管理科学本科专业责任教授。2003年，澳大利亚CURTIN科技大学访问****。2006年获广西科技进步三等奖一项；2010年获广西第十一次社科成果奖一等奖一项。运筹学与控制论、应用数学专业硕士导师。研究方向：运筹学方法及应用、数量管理方法及应用、非线性规划理论与方法、图论与组合最优化。近期的主要研究内容：以优化系统的成本或利润为目标，研究各种环境下供应链库存管理的订购、储存等管理方法。通过构建库存控制优化模型，根据模型的性质，设计求解算法，寻找最优的订购、存储策略和有效的供应链协调方法，为生产管理决策提供依据。
