研究成果:
1、建立了青藏高原北部白垩纪-新近纪地层框架及磁性地层年代序列;查明了印度-亚洲版块碰撞初期高原北部构造隆升事件及机制。
2、厘定了印度-亚洲板块碰撞前青藏高原北部构造与环境背景,提出中-新生代我国西北地区经历了4次构造运动、三次气候转型的演变过程。
3、发现被子植物在亚洲内陆地区出现于早白垩世,提出被子植物繁盛与干热气候有关。
4、明确甘蒙北山地区构造演化分为前寒武纪古板块、早古生代板块及晚古生代裂谷演化三个阶段,基于成矿构造单元划分出古大陆边缘、板块碰撞带及裂谷活动带三种类型的铜多金属矿成矿系列。
5、提出南祁连西段党河南山地区新元古代-泥盆纪发生了两次大洋扩张-闭合过程,并发现了岛弧型、碰撞型及伸展型三种类型的金矿成矿系列。
6、提出西秦岭金矿形成于岛弧环境和碰撞环境,发现西秦岭地区存在金矿矿源层,提出了大水金矿成矿新模式。
在研项目:
1、2019-2023,国家第二次青藏高原综合考察研究专题《碰撞以来高原古地理格局与构造地貌演化(2019QZKK0704)》,主持。
2、2017-2021,联合国教科文组织和国际地球科学联合会国际地学计划项目《利用多重地层学方法研究古生代沉积岩石记录的地质年代信息》,项目共同负责人和中方工作组负责人(UNESCO and IUGS International Geoscience Programme (IGCP): Reading geologic time in Paleozoic sedimentary rocks: the need for an integrated stratigraphy (IGCP652), Co-leader and Chinese workgroup leader).
3、2020-2023,国家自然科学基金项目《酒西盆地白垩纪磁性地层年代和古地磁研究:对盆地白垩纪构造演化的精细约束(**)》,主持。
