教育：
1986年7月毕业于清华大学无线电电子学系，获工学士学位（学制5年）。
1989年7月研究生毕业于复旦大学物理系，获理硕士学位。
1992年3月博士研究生毕业于复旦大学物理系。 1991年7月提前获理博士学位。
任职：
1992年4月起任中山大学物理系讲师。
1993年11月起任中山大学物理系副教授。
2000年7月起任中山大学物理系（后改为物理科学与工程技术学院，现为物理学院）教授。
2003年5月获得博士生导师资格。

学科方向:
理论物理/量子理论中的解析方法

承担课题:
先后主持国家自然科学基金研究课题四项。均已结题。
曾主持教育部国家理科基地创建名牌课程基金研究课题一项：数学物理方法教学改革与教学研究。1999 年获准资助，2001 年和 2003 年两次通过中期考核并获继续资助，之后教育部未再过问，默认为已经结题。

技术专长:
主要研究量子理论中可以解析处理的一些具体问题，尤其是精确解。近年也研究一点数学问题。
