1986年至1989年在中山医科大学生物化学教研室工作,历任助教、讲师
1992年7月起在中山大学化学与化学工程学院工作
1993年12月晋升副教授,1995年1月晋升教授
2006年至今,生物无机与合成化学教育部重点实验室主任
