主要从事鱼类种质分析及遗传育种教学和研究工作。围绕海水鱼类种质资源保护和利用这一目标,以重要经济鱼类(石斑鱼、大黄鱼和小黄鱼等)为研究对象,利用分子标记技术研究海水鱼类适应性进化、种群遗传多样性、种质分析及分子育种等。具体的,涉及以下几个方面:1.基于二代测序技术及基因组学的海水鱼类分子选育;2海水鱼类自然种群的遗传结构;3.养殖和放流对海水鱼类种质的影响;4.鱼类精子超低温冷冻保存; 5.渔业资源归属的分子判别;6. 海水鱼类的适应性进化。
