Research interests
My research interests encompass animal ecology and conservation. Much of my current work focuses on assessing sensitivity and plasticity of mammals and birds to climate change, especially to extreme climatic events, by identifying species responses to these impacts on behavioral and population levels and building links between the responses and life-history traits. I also expect to explore the effects of extreme climatic events on different animal communities, and take interdisciplinary approaches to apply the findings under the conservation frame of Anthropocene.
