中山大学电子与通信工程学院副教授，硕士生导师。毕业于北京交通大学，获得博士学位，美国麻省理工学院博士后，主要从事机器视觉、智能感知、自动驾驶等领域的基础理论攻关研究、微机原理、机器视觉等方面的教学、科研与人才培养工作，理论功底深厚、工程实践经验较丰富，
作为负责人和主要参与者先后承担夜间危险车辆实时预警系统（美国司法局资助）、丰田——麻省理工无人车项目之双边巡航控制理论子课题（丰田研究院资助）、XX等项目2项，总经费1000多万元。许多研究成果处于国内国际先进水平。
公开发表学术论文20余篇，其中SCI检索8篇，EI检索16篇，公开出版专著1部，教材1部。
主讲《微机原理与嵌入式系统》课程，讲授计算机系统的基本原理、架构和功能。在理论学习的基础上，指导学生在单片机系统上实现相应的机器视觉、智能感知算法，从而实现完整物理模型（例如无人车或无人机模型）的演示。
