【学术表现】
长期从事热电材料及器件相关技术研究。留美期间,作为主要骨干参与美国能源部多项重要科研项目,包括(与麻省理工学院、橡树岭实验室、加州理工学院、密苏里大学、休斯敦大学等)多校联合项目“Solid State Solar Thermal Energy Conversion Center (S3TEC)”优化开发高性能Zintl能源材料。留日期间,主持日本学术振兴会项目,参与与法国国家科学院研究中心及日本企业多方面合作,致力探索热电材料更广泛的市场应用前景。近些年来取得的相关研究成果有:在n型Mg3Sb2基Zintl热电材料中1)实现了电和声的协同调控,有效改善低温部分性能;2)揭示缺陷工程中散射机制改变问题;3)揭示n型Zintl相具备高性能的关键科学问题。在相应的p型Zintl中1)研究开发了新型高性能无毒无污染Bi基热电材料突破了p型Zintl发展的停滞不前;2)运用全方位声子散射降低晶格热导率,提升热电性能;3)优化合成方法,制备了高质量且性能优异的块体材料,以及开发新型高性能热电材料GeTe和室温MgAgSb热电材料体系等。
至今在国际权威期刊上发表论文近40篇,其中包括第一作者论文13篇:PNAS 2 篇,Energy Environ. Sci.?1篇,J. Am. Chem. Soc. 1篇,Nano Energy 2 篇,Small?1篇, J. Mater. Chem. A?1篇,Acta Mater. 1篇,Appl. Phys. Lett. 1篇等。授权美国发明专利1项,以第一作者身份撰写两本英文学术专著章节《Advanced Thermoelectrics: Materials, Contacts, Devices, and Systems》, 《Novel?Thermoelectric Materials and Device Design Concepts》。
