主要学术和科学创新点
1.首次指出二氧化碳中的氧18(18O)同位素及臭氧(O3)在瓦里关大气背景监测站有良好的相关性,证明当地平流层-对流层交换是夏天O3的主要来源及18O同位素可作为平流层-对流层交换的示踪物。
2.首次发现在包括香港及我国南方、东南亚半岛和北太平洋地区在内的2500-6000米高度对流层之间,臭氧浓度在每年的冬末和春天(2-4月)期间都有明显的增加(75-135ppbv)。证明了这些臭氧浓度的增加,直接归因于印度缅甸和东南亚地区的大规模森林大火和生物燃料燃烧产生的污染物在长距离输送过程中所产生的光化学臭氧。表明我国南方、东南亚半岛和北太平洋地区的对流层臭氧春天高值有其独特的来源,有别于其它北半球地区,为争论已久的对流层臭氧春天的主要来源提供了另外一个科学解释。
3.利用臭氧探空及卫星资料发现在1997年印度尼西亚森林大火期间,对流层的臭氧浓度在包括印度尼西亚,新加坡,马来西亚,中南半岛和我国南方地区的整个对流层(4-14km)有极明显的增加(达到100产ppbv)。揭示了这次火灾与厄尔尼诺现象相关的Hadley大气环流在热带和亚热带上空的改变有关。表明这些地区大规模的臭氧浓度增加对本地区的大气强迫辐射、地表温度和大气系统改变有着非常重要的影响。
4.首次报道了在包括香港及珠江三角洲的我国南方地区的背景地面臭氧在1984-1999年间有每年1.6%的增加,表明我国在内和亚洲地区的高速经济发展已经引起大规模的大气变迁和空气质量变坏。成功地推断我国东部和东亚沿海地区是我们南方包括珠三角和香港的重要区域光化学臭氧源区。相对地,从珠三角地区直接输送至香港引起的高浓度臭氧污染事件,频率却较少。
5.发现在2000-2005年间在珠三角大气环境中的碳氢有机物组成有明显的改变。其中丙烷在广州市区增加大约1倍,同期甲苯在郊区增加1.6倍。我们发现丙烷的增加可能是与引入液化石油气为广州市区的公共汽车和出租车燃料有关。
